The Company designs and manufactures its own line of formalwear and provides door-to-door delivery to customers across the contiguous U.S. Since its founding, the Company has experienced rapid growth nearly entirely from word-of-mouth referrals and other organic channels.
The Black Tux is a leading online provider of men’s tuxedo and formalwear rentals in the U.S. launched in 2013, The Black Tux is the first suit and tux rental service that doesn’t feel like one. With its vertically integrated model, the Company sources, designs and manufactures its own product using premium materials and provides a seamless ordering experience with door-to-door delivery and pickup.
The tux was pretty nice. My initial sizes were not a good fit. They didn't have the size I wanted for the specific style of tux, however they were able to send me a similar tux they was the correct size. Shipping takes a bit of time so it's better if you order a month and a half in advance, or else you might have to to pay for express shipping.
There are no wide options for shoes. I didn't receive my order until 7 days before the event, then they wanted me to pay for expedited shipping even though I didn't receive the clothes 14 days in advance like I'm supposed to. I would give zero stars and I hope that future couples find these reviews before they move forward with the black tux. It has been a nightmare experience and quite frankly, I have never seen such poor customer service ever in my life. I have never written a negative review before, but this was insane.
Their customer service is non existent, their suits are awful, their algorithm for fitting clothes is absurd. I don’t know why anyone would pay hundreds of dollars to rent a terrible suit when you could buy a decent one and get it fitted for the same. Zero accountability with this company.
